Our last day in LA, we took a segway tour around Santa Monica Pier and Venice beach. What a gorgeous area of the country. And some great people watching.
This is the ferris wheel on the Santa Monica pier at night. We had dinner there the night before and snapped this pic.
And here we are on the segways heading toward Venice beach.
In Venice beach we stopped to watch the skateboard park for a while. These guys are brave! Wipes outs on the hard cement - yikes.

Lots of interesting rental properties along the beach - most are vacation rentals (probably too expensive to own and live there!)
